Michigan trail maps?

I've been trying to find bike trail maps for michigan, but the most current I can find are from 2004, and I know from experience that there a lot more finished trails than are shown, even as 'proposed' trails.
Has anyone had luck finding current trail maps?

I ride the roads, but want to take the grand kids riding too, and would prefer keeping them off the road till they're a bit older

Thanks
Ken.

Finally, another BF member from the Grand Rapids area. I live in the south east side myself.

I've had terrible luck finding a ton of information on Michigan trails. I can only find one for Kent County trails; around where I live. Is this the one you saw too?

Do you mostly road or MTB ride?

Mhamm, I normally ride road bikes, but don't mind riding MB trails, I do prefer staying off sandy trails because of skinny tires. I've been thinking about picking up a mountain bike, but haven't found one that I really like. For some reason everything I find -without- suspension is going for big bucks or trashed right out.
Your link is the most recent I've been able to find (going from the properties tab on the reader) but it's identical to the 2004 map, and doesn't show a few trails that I've been riding for year or two now, M6 was completed last year, and there are a couple others I've seen (not ridden) that I can't find on any maps. Normally if I'm just out to ride I hit the the M6, kent, and the old interurban trail (short, but goes the right direction to catch the m6)
Have about three weeks till the Bitely ride/camping trip, so I'll be hitting the trails a lot over the next couple of weeks.

Redxi, I haven't seen that map yet, Strange because I've been to the site a couple times! It is the only one I've seen that shows the M6 trail as other than 'proposed' I'll have to chase around there to see what else they have
Thanks.

I thought I struck gold for a second, found a site that had a lot of maps of michigan, but after checking, it has very detailed maps for everywhere BUT kent. Starting to think they want to keep people away from grand rapids!

Kendall, try going to a LBS (Like The Village People at 60th and Kalamazoo). If they do not have one, it probably does not exist.

This is the best west michigan trail map I have found.
https://www.scribd.com/doc/31453254/R...p-Relief-Esize
It was put out in April of 2010 and shows most of the major trails and a lot of the traills that are either proposed or slated for future construction.
P.S I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the Interurban trail (I.E trailheads, distance, surface type) Thanks I appreciate it

I am resurrecting this old thread for both the interurban trail information (having a hard time finding it), as well as where to get a good set of maps. I am trying to plan a commuting route from jenison to the south side of GR (44th and kalamazoo). Want to bike to work this summer (19 miles one way by car), but looking for a safer and more direct route, as i currently drive around the south side of town on M6, as the crow flies it is only about 10 miles
