another michigan rail trail question.
 

I keep getting conflicting information, 'official' sites indicate the pere marquette trail only goes east, but I've run into a few people who claim it is passable west to beyond Baldwin.


I'm mainly interested as I have about two weeks before I go camping at one of the lakes south of Baldwin. I have an alternat route, but think it would be nice to be able to stick to trails. From Baldwin I only have another 15 or so miles to go.
Also, since many of the trails I ride around here don't show up on any of the official sites or publications, hoping to get some input from locals.

So, can anyone living along US10 between Baldwin and Reed city provide details?
