Added to my fleet....

Started with a road bike and last year added a mountain bike. This year my hubby converted my old Bianchi road bike from the 80s into a fixie. After checking out many cool paint jobs, I told him to go with the "Italian" them. Have a white seat ordered to finish it off. I love the way it turned out! It's even personalized with my forum name and the slang in Italy for a "fixed bike" Thought you might enjoy the pictures. I love riding this new bike

It will be a miracle if I actually correctly uploaded the pictures so you can see them!

Very cool! I really like the white chain.
I rode my fixie a few weeks ago. It is still a blast. Just pedal, pedal, pedal.

Silver rims are desperately needed on old-school bikes.

I'm thinking it will be nearly impossible to keep it clean!!! However you can ask Psimet about my meticulous bike maintenance. No doubt I'll be cleaning after every ride (NOT)

But have you posted pics on the Fixed Gear/Single Speed forum yet? That's where you'll get the interesting feedback.

And I'm seriously thinking we need to get a BFNIC fixed gear ride sometime. Might be a small group, but that makes coordinating a ride easier. Any possible interest out there?

I'd never post over there...they are borderline psychos. I mean, I much prefer the BFNIC crazies We got a corner on crazy over here.

When I got my last fixie I went to post over there and was quickly reminded that I am far too old and far too square to roll with those guys. So it was quickly back to my corner where I belong.

When I was in Canada years ago a bartender told me that Labatt's Blue was "the PBR of Canada". It was NOT meant as a compliment!
