Two firsts today.

Got down the first but not up the second, did a slow tumble and injured my pride.

Second was being chased by a dog. I am riding past a park and these little kids starting yelling "Chita! Chita!" as I look back to see this little rat terrier coming after me down the path at full gallup. I didn't stop to take pictures. Just got out of there.

Pretty nasty, what trail?

I had a little terrier try to jump through the hoop of my front wheel once. That didn't turn out so well as I slid down the path through the springtime mud. The dog? Who knows, he went scampering off to who knows where.

Pennsy Greenway in Lansing. I got the pictures reversed.

Pennsy Greenway, 170th Street. Been there, haven't done that though. They should be adding bike lanes or a bike path (IMHO), but Cook County probably can't find money for such frivolity.

Seems like that crossing has been under construction since last year sometime.
Glad you weren't hurt.
