I've heard there are some nice rides in Prescott and Hagar City. Are these my best choices for optimal suffering?

There are some hills along the river between Prescott and Hager City, riding up and down the bluffs along the river. Search on mapmyride.com and Twin Cities Bike Club also does some rides in the area, Plum City and Maiden Rock would be good also.

Are you looking for road or MTB terrain? Can you travel to Dodgeville or Blue Mound?

The Nature Valley road race was in Menomonie a few weeks back and the markings are in great shape and easy to follow. About 90 miles of challenging roads with some good climbs and rollers to enjoy. You can probably print the map off the Nature Valley Gran Prix site . Rode just north of Spring Green and around Trempeleau
last month and really enjoyed it .Where ever you you go in western Wisconsin you should be pleased.

Try the HOOP ride out of Prescott with TCBC. The first 30 miles I logged over 3,ooo feet of ascent. They have a whole series in the area.
