Hey MJH2,
The cable stop comes from the fork to help minimize chatter. It's standard on the frame. The TRP pads are kind of a puzzle to adjust. I am not sure I have it right as I haven't put it through it's paces yet but plan to at CX practice tonight. Yep, forte/titan wheels and I am going to get my CX rubber now. I'll trim the stem and clean up the install after I get some saddle time on her. Think I need a black saddle. |

First workout last night ... um ... wow. Cyclocross is a redline fest to the max. Unfortunately the power meter doesn't register running up hills so SST is way off. Knee held up well so far.

Cyclocross is like a TT on grass with a bunch of little sprints at max effort. If you do it right, it doesn't feel even a little bit good.
If you made it through the practice without an extremely sharp pain in your lower back, you're ahead of me, though. |
Uhh... a cross bike is only a cross bike when there is mud, grass, straw, dirt and blood hanging of the bike. ;)
