Looking for a good route to Mohican

I'm not doing the ride until July 15th so I have plenty of time to check it out, just want to plan it out early. I'll be riding from Olmsted Falls to Mohican SP. I'm looking for a bike friendly route from somewhere other than my Garmin Nuvi when set to avoid highways. Anybody have any experience riding around Mohican?

If I were doing the ride I would take West River Rd from Olmsted Falls @ Sprague/Columbia. Follow West River into Valley City and pick up Lester riding South to Speith. Take Speith West to Vandermak Rd and ride South into Lodi. In Lodi take RT 42 south to Ashland. RT 42 from Lodi to Ashland is lightly traveled and has a wide berm and for some reason even goes to 4 lanes in the middle of Amish Coutry. From Ashland take RT 250 towards Wooster for a few miles then make a right. You can finish the route using Mapquest from there. When I travel from Medina to Mohician Forest to mtb I take I-71 to RT 250 then the side roads into Loudinville.

The ride will be pretty flat until you get off RT 250.
