Any other events like 'Race the Lake'?

And by that I mean larger mass start road races of 50-100 miles with open registration. I'm not a regular racer and don't care for crits, but I've done this the last 2 years and much preferred it to the typical start whenever century. I can do that on my own. Closer to Milwaukee is better but overnighters are fine if the event is good.

Not a true road race (like the race the lake) but not exactly a criterium either:

My first road race was Race the Lake last year and I'm hoping to do more this year. There's the Centurion Wisconsin in Middleton or you can check out the WCA held races. I just signed up for the crit on the 9th in Menomonee Falls and it's cheap at $33. I think I'll do a few Tour of America's Dairyland races too. I was planning on doing some WORS stuff but would rather stick to one or the other as it'll get pricey doing road and xc mtb.

Centurion Wisconsin which I'm planning on giving a shot

Check out: www.wisport.org

A number of RRs, including Whitewater on 4/30 and Ride the Rock on 6/19 which are as close as the series gets to MKE. A good number of TTs and RRs in Madison area as well.

Mass start, open events.

Look up the "Insane Terrain Challenge" or the "Horribly Hilly Hundreds" they have 200 or 125 K rides, not too competitive, but still challenging.
