Polly Ann Trail - Michigan: Oakland, Lapeer, and Genesee counties.

The other day we had a warm-up, so I decided to try this trail. I started at the base of it in Oakland county, and my goal was to hit Dryden and then turn around.
Riding through Oakland county, everything was going well. However, as soon as I got into Lapeer it took a turn for the worse. The path became a swap, and it stayed that way. I ended up turning around maybe a mile before Dryden. The only water stop I saw was Frosty Boys in Oxford.
Questions:
1. Does the trail eventually turn back into packed gravel/Limestone, or is it a swamp all the way up to Attica?
2. Are there any other water stops north of where I turned around?
3. Has anybody done the entire thing?

Edit: Just consulted Google. I was .7 miles away from the town.

The trail has not been improved north of Oakland Co., with the good part ending just past Leonard. Also, as you noticed, not much in the way of amenities except in Oxford and parts south. Theoretically, as I recall, it should go all the way up to King's Mill -- well north of I-69/M-21 -- but it will probably be many years before anything happens up there.

If you want a long, continuous trail, start heading east on the Clinton River Trail at the trailhead on Op**** Road (S of M-59, W of I-75). On a trail or hybrid bike, you can go all the way from there to Armada (Clinton River Trail becomes the Macomb Orchard Trail at the county line). And if you're on a fat-tired bike, the trail's there all the way to Richmond. Numerous places to stop along the way for refreshment, lunch, etc. Round trip from Op**** to Richmond and back is close to 70 miles.

I've used that trail before. The problem is if I do the round trip it's almost 100 miles. I'm not quite up to that yet.
I've gone as far as 29 and Van ****, but I didn't see any water stops. Are there any past it?
Lol @ censored word.

Is there anything in Dryden or Imlay city?
It sounds like the Macomb half of the Clinton River trail. Lots of stores but no water. Except the Clinton river trail is paved.
