"Bicycle Illinois" tour blogs
I see that in July there is a supported tour called "Bicycle Illinois" that goes from Cairo to Chicago. From reading some of the information on the website, it looks like a pretty interesting ride. What I'm looking to find are blog(s) from past participants. A Google search didn't turn up anything, but I'm hoping someone here might know of a blog or two and could point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance for any information anyone can provide.

Thank you for the link Rod, I really appreciate it. This ride/tour sounds more and more interesting the more I read about it. I am seriously tempted to sign up right now, but I need to wait and see how some financial issues play out in the next few weeks. If they turn out favorably, I just may be signing up.

That's really cool. If anybody who hasn't been through back-country so. IL is on the edge about this, go for it. That area of the state is ridiculously beautiful, especially during the summer. Giant city was basically my home for about a year. The sights alone are worth the money and hard work. I'd sign up in a second if I had a decent road bike and a few months more of training... though I don't know if I'll ever be in good enough shape to conquer the hill of death!
