BRR Ride coming up soon!

That's right, the annual Bike Ride to Rippey is coming up February 2. This will be the 36th year of the 24 mile ride in central Iowa. Should be a great time.

This is the closest thing I could find to an official page: https://www.bikeiowa.com/EventPop/6942

I've thought about this one for years but am such a wimp when it comes to cold that it would really matter on that for me!! I live near Atlantic, BTW.

I registered. I am good for any temp, but if there is significant snowfall I will bail. I'm new to IA (moved from WI) and thought this might be a way to get out a bit more.

I wimped out last year due to the chance of snow/freezing rain during the ride. Planning on doing it this year. If you see a guy on a yellow fixed-gear with studs, say hi!

I wimped out last year too, for the same reason ThermionicScott. I'm considering riding this year though. Lots of friends ride it every year and have a blast.
