Drive to Colorado to road ride in the mountains?

Hey guys, I know this is a long shot but I had a climbing trip in Colorado with a friend who had to cancel due to family issues. Now I have July 11-15 off and I still want to go to CO. My idea is to drive over with the roadbikes and set up camp near Estes Park Valley. We could then map out round trips in the mountains and drive to these locations.

The trip would be 5 days long.
We would ride 3 days (fri, sat, sun)
Mileage would be between 50 and 100 each day.
Pace will be similar to the fast group rides in the Minneapolis area.
I am from the cities and am hoping to split gas cost for the trip.
Driving time will be ~14 hours one way.

Let me know if you are interested!
