Loveland BIke Trail Status?
Hey guys,
I live in KY and plan on heading up to Cinci to do about 60 miles on the Loveland trail this weekend, but I know they close the little rest areas during the winter. Are those open now? Is there a site where I can check the status? There's a lot of info online but looks like a lot of the active links are outdated.
Thanks in advance

The restroom at Loveland is open all winter. They add some plywood doors and turn on a heater. I don't know about the other stops.
30 miles each way? Here's where I would ride. It's all scenic, and once you get a couple of miles north of Loveland, not too busy. The south end of the trail, through Milford and up to Loveland, is nice, but busier on a weekend, with more walkers, kids on bikes, etc.
Loveland to Morrow is 13 miles. ridewithgps map.
Morrow to Spring Valley Wildlife area is 19 miles. I like the shallow lake in the Spring Valley area, lots of birds there. Or turn around at Corwn, 15 miles. ridewithgps map to Xenia.
If nothing is open in Corwin, you could ride a half mile over to Waynesville and find a gas station there.
There's a gas station in Morrow at the corner of Front St and US-22, (two blocks from the bike trail's old RR bridge) that caters to bike riders, and some ice cream businesses right near the trail.
There's a restaurant right off the side of the trail in Oregonia. I'm guessing it's open this weekend.

Wow thanks for the info! Yup 30mi(ish) out and back is the plan, and I think I'll take your advice and head north from Loveland. I'd love to ride from Loveland to Xenia but I think that's a little ambitious this early in the season, don't quite have my legs yet.
