You did Old Mission Peninsula? I did that last weekend! Huge crosswinds ...

Sorry, Fred, I'd love to do RAT, but I think it's gonna have to wait for another weekend or even next year. My wife wants to come back in late September or so to do Old Mission or something when the leaves are changing.

How did you like the penninsula? It is an area I have never riden even though it is close to home.

It was a very nice ride. The lakeshore part gota little boring. You know, staring at lakefront home after lakefront home. Once I got into the hills in the center of the penninsula it got really scenic and nice. Vinyards and orchards galore. The only thing that could have been better is if the cherry's were ripe and the trees were full of red berries. Wind wasnt really a factor and since I was riding alone, I just kept a good pace and the camera handy. Definately worth the few hours I took out of my vacation.

It look like they are still accepting registrations and the weather looks good. I'm working to clear my schedule and drive out of Kalamazoo sometime on Saturday.
