That could work, but I think you'll end up with a first post containing 200+ links eventually, which could be as hard and time consuming as flipping through various forum posts. It might be best just to update them in this format, then people can add the ones they like to their favourites, and just click on the last page to get the newer links that come up.

Take a look at a map I did (very quickly sorry)

Click on ...... Map of route in Thailand and Malaysia, in the menu on the left for an idea.

Although my jourrnal is on crazyguyon abike, its different as there is some humor to it. There are also prostitutes and me urinating into the mouth of a gorilla. It may not be for everyone, and children (under 18) please check with your mothers before reading, all others take a look:

Here are two of my contributions to the touring community and a link to our journals on the CGOAB site.
Of course the infamous Fully Loaded Touring Bike - Photo Gallery which at the time of this post is nearing 300 high quality bike images from around the world. Viewership continues to grow with the site taking in around 1 million hits per year.
And I'm now going public with the new FLT Gallery Profiles page.
I created this last year, wanting something more than a standard links page for the FLT Gallery. It's been running in the background, known only to about 60 tourers and some industry types. I've just loaded the 10th profile. A link to the Profiles page is found at the top of the FLT Gallery so before long it should be pulling in thousands of viewers per month. Changes and improvements to come.
Lastly, my wife and I normally tour for 20-30 days per year and our journals can be found ...HERE.
Tailwinds!

This is a great idea, I love being able to read other people's blog. You can find mine at travelhoz.blogspot.com
I have only documented on trip on there, the other trip on there was not on bicycle. More to come in the future.

Cool Sites from everyone so far. Here is one with some info on some tours from Croatai, Argentina and latly from Czech Republic. there is a bit of info outside of biking, but it should be pretty simple to find the bike related stuff which is relevant.
Quick and to the point, CROATIA is FU&*ING awesome place for touring alone, in my opinion. Maybe others feel something super special about their first ride too.... I amnot sure as this is only my third year touring.

Cool, I just saw this sticky and thought I should add mine!
We are starting from Miami and heading due north to Maine. It is our first long ride so it should be fun!

I registered on this forum a long time back, but have only started visiting again now (I now have an internet connection at home). I have got a lot of help from the posts here, without giving anything back in return. On seeing this thread, thought I would offer my site with a couple of small trips. Warning: No major rides and NOT updated regularly,
https://sudipto.dg.googlepages.com/
It has accounts of two tours in the Himachal Pradesh state in North India. Not too many people on this forum are visiting this part of the world. I hope this might attract you / have some information that might help in case you are already planning to come.

No one cares
Mine is very light on content as I'm just setting it up, but I'm leaving on tour at the end of this week and will have a bunch more to talk about!

I had this website up for a long while, but my hosting was screwed up for a few months, so here is my touring website. As a graphic designer, I get frustrated when I'm reading something spectacular but it almost hurts my eyes to look at it, so I've tried to make my site as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
I'll be updating it a lot more now that I have a timeline for my next tour. There are pages for my past tours' journals, photos and a PDF of the 50 or so page document I wrote after my last tour from Kentucky to Wyoming.
Anyhow, I'll shut up and put the link in here now: https://www.pedalthestates.com

Yeah, sorry about that. I lost some stuff when one of my hard drives died. I'm in the process of putting everything back together and then uploading it all. Check out the PDF linked on the front page to read about the Kentucky to Wyoming tour.

My girlfriend and I just got back from a PCH San Fran to Santa Barbara ride. While my blog isn't specifically about touring, it has allot of commuting, mountainbikeing, and hiking.
