Hello,

I’ll be buying new hybrid soon. After researching it I’m going for Crosstrail Sport Disc or Crosstrail Disc depending on price..

CSD RRP is £550
CD RRP is £450
I have browsed around many websites selling bikes and I must say I’m surprised that ALL prices are the same everywhere!?
How one can go around to get bike cheaper then RRP?

When buying a new bike from a dealer, unless you find a specific bike on closeout (a year or two older model, etc), or they have some sort of rare sale going on, they are usually around msrp. If it's a new current year model bike, you usually won't find them more than about $20 difference between shops. At least that's been my experience around here in the US.

Wait until mid/late August - if you can - and ring around. Bikescene did the best deal for me offering a 20% discount, plus a pair of spd's.

If you don't ask, you don't get.

I find it very strange - surely there are decent margins in industry i find it strange all prices are set to RRP
Anyway - I will shop around more ;-)

If I was a dealer, I would give you 10% off just for your avatar...
