Anyone have any experience with adjustable stems?

Anyone use these and have any recommendations, for or against?

I've got a 6 degree rise stem that came with my new bike and I can tell that I want something with a higher rise stem. I've seen a couple adjustable stems that seem like a good way to dial in the exact rise I want but I'm wondering if they're easy to strip or if they have incremental locking positions.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
