I'm OK seat-wise, just the constant, small vibrations through the bars eventually irritate my wrist and having a suspension fork almost eliminates that vibration so I can do longer rides.

Not sure I'll be going to these...I just got off a similar set when I moved up from the Electra Townie 21!

I like my flat bars on the new GT, just looking to get something with the same rise, ~ 3/4", but wider.

Where can I purchase the 42c tires you speak of? This will make the bike able to handle off road better?
