Quick craigslist help

Hey all,
I have been looking for a giant cypress dx. Well, while surfing through craigslist I found a giant cypress dx. They are firm at $250. Not sure as far as the age but from the pic it looks nice. What is the group consensus? Good deal or run? It also comes with a mirror, front and rear lights, and bottle holder. It was also just tuned up at the LBS...a well known one. I need to jump on it quick. Please help

A bit of additional info. The bike is 7 years old

I'd say it's about 75$ too high

I am hoping to pick it up a bit cheaper but he says he is firm. Time to bust out the negotiating skills. Would you be good with buying it off of CL, obviously in person to check it out

I got my trek 7.2 off craigslist, make sure you meet in an area a test ride is possible, I met in a school parking lot so I could give the bike a short test ride to test gears and such

He guys! I picked up the bike. It's a 2007 Giant Cypress DX. The owner was at $250 firm but I got him down to $150 because it had a little road rash. It's all minor, the biggest bring a small rip in the seat. Absolutely love the new bike

Congrats! $150 is reasonable and gives you space to add new parts.

Thanks! Yea I've already got the bug to buy stuff.

Congrats on your new bike and a great deal.

The bike has road rash???? Remember it comes from sliding metal against pavement.

It's very minor. A little scrape about the size of a nickel on the rear.
