Brand Opinions

Ive been visiting some local shops now and Ive encountered a new brand of bikes i never heard of.. KTM.
The staff of the shop were pretty persuasive. The bikes are sexy and clean but in terms of quality I have no ideia. Anyone has ever used one or has anything to say about the brand?

They claim to have been making bicycles since 1964. I haven't seen one yet.. They make some nice motorcycles tho.

Austrian. Not as prestigious as Daimler-Steyr-Puch but a good brand.

You can't go wrong with them!

One of the few domestic manufacturers that still build their bikes in Austria:

"Over the last decades KTM has developed into an influential player in the global bicycle sector. Bike technologies have changed and made enormous progress. As time goes by KTM became one of the last manufacturers to cover the whole range of bikes. But one thing has never changed: KTM still builts Bikes-Made in Austria. Already the first KTM bike Fleetwing disposed of the quality label Made in Austria (1964). More than 50 years later KTM is proud to label the biggest parts of its bikes again with that mark standing for highest quality and state-of-the-art technologies. Meanwhile more than 50 countries around the globe trust in KTM Bikes-Made in Austria."

They have been around the dirt bike scene for a while. Didn't know they were putting pedals on them now.
