There seems almost endless choice in handlebars between 600 to 660mm and they have different degrees of backsweep and/or a rise, so I don't know how one can really nominate only a few choices, when there are probably 20 different handlebars that one would be equally happy on.

Yeah, there are a lot. I guess I was looking for some hybrid crowd favorites to help narrow it down.

Edit: I'm eyeballing some 630mm FSA Afterburner bars:

I bought this and it allowed me to move the controls in as far as needed.
I made mine 580mm long
