Definitely. The bike wanted the do wheelies pretty bad 😂

I was recently in South Florida and went for ride with some friends. This pic is all I can safely post to indicate the type of "Wildlife" I encountered.

That's interesting. Never saw a sign like that on a public Florida beach before except maybe on a private beach. What part of Miami were you in ?

Had a coyote run out right in front of me today and scare the heck out of me. I thought I was going to hit it, crash and get eaten. That whole scenario played through my head in a split second. That's the first time I've ever had chill bumps in 100 heat.

Came across a larger snapping turtle yesterday. Picture doesn't really do it justice as he was all retracted by the time I got the picture. At full gate from afar, I thought it was a beaver. Saw some other critters on that ride, but that was the most notable. I'm pretty sure a bird or a squirrel flew under me, hit my pedals, and took off. I know I felt something, but by the time I looked, there was nothing there.

I saw a peacock on ride yesterday. I ride in an area that has horse ranches, and one of the ranches has peacocks. Most of the time I see pure white one, but yesterday the one I saw was blue.

The wife and I did a weekend tour last month on the Pine Creek Trail in north central Pennsylvania. The trail is about 62 miles long. We rode it both ways over the weekend camping one night. In the 48 hour period we saw 1 black bear sow with two cubs, two timber rattle snakes that we had to stop for while crossing the trail, bald eagles (I think three different ones) some blue herrings and many deer and turkeys. What an awesome trail. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

I bike to work many mornings and on my way in one morning, about 20 yards in front of me on the rail trail I ride I
saw a family of what looked like weasels cross the path in front of me.
As I got closer to where they had crossed I slowed down to see if I could see them in the woods when (I assume) the mother came running back at me snarling, making god-awful screeching noises and chasing me.
I have never ridden that fast on that stretch of trail before, abject fear can drive one to levels of performance previously unknown.
Nor did I look back until I was out of the woods and on paved road.
That was one nasty little bastard, probably about 3 feet long.
Further research here tells me they were fishers.
I'm hoping I never see another.

Ran over a squirrel yesterday morning, damn thing darted out into the path then turned parallel to my front wheel, then the little dummy turned in towards my front tire. Happened so fast had no time to react and got the poor fella with both wheels running tire pressures at 100 psi. Felt like running over a pressurized water hose, he scampered off, but I have a feeling he will be cat or fox food.

Speaking of cat food, in the past month I have seen 2 rabbits on my street. One at night in a neighbor's yard and another as road kill. These are the first ones I have noticed in years. It seems the population of cats on the street is not as high as it used to be. When I first moved on the street almost 20 years ago I noticed lots of rabbits and few cats, but then the cats increased as the rabbits decreased. Now the rabbits may be rebounding.

Just re-read my post here, and I have to say, I felt horrible, poor little guy.

Started out at Basalt, CO high school and rode the Rio Grande bike path to River Road to Woody Creek road to where the pavement stopped. Turned around and started the decent and came upon a Mountain Lion crossing the road. Pretty cool as you don't see these big cats too often.

Wow, that would get my adrenaline flowing! If I saw that, I could probably ride a average 30mph against the wind for a few miles.

I thought that it was cool when I came across a Bobcat here in west central Florida - but not sure the same feeling would be there is I came across a mountain lion

Ever play Red Dead Redemtion? Reminds me of those cougars.

I've toured the everglades and several parks in Florida a long while ago. Never ran into big cats thankfully.

I ran into a Bobcat on a MUP in the panhandle just outside Tallahassee a few months back, and it scared the hell out of me, I posted about it in this thread somewhere.
