Cannondale Quick 7 tire valve

What kind of tire valve does a Cannondale Quick 7 have?

Looks like Presta if I zoom in on the pic on the C-dale website.

If need be, you can purchase an adapter form your local bike store for about a dollar, to convert it to Schrader valve stem.

Well, no.

Schräder valve stems have a bigger diameter than Presta.
There are no adapters that make holes bigger.
But Presta drilled rims can be drilled out or reamed to take Schräder valves.

Schräder-to-Presta adapters do exist, but are next to pointless if used on the hubwards wall on a double-walled rim.

You are confused, as there are many ways to make a stem LARGER. I happen to have several in my possession, and most bike stores have a jar full for sale at about a dollar apiece. These are Presta to Schrader Valve Stem adapters.

Are you talking about the adapters to make a Presta valve fit a Schräder rim, or about an adapter to make a Presta fit a Schräder pump nozzle?

I'm talking about the rim adapters.

And best I can judge from a pic of the OP's bike, it comes stock with Presta valves.
So I'd assume it comes with Presta-drilled rims.

If you can show me an adapter to make a wider stem fit in a narrower hole I'd be interested to see it.

You assume too much. Many people are concerned with the inability to inflate Presta tubes. I was merely suggesting that there is a cheap alternative to this problem. I thought I was pretty clear! I do remember , 60 years ago, when you had to have a dedicated pump to fill a tube on an "English Racer"!
