What year is your Trek DS2? If a current model year, the rims listed are Bontrager Connection, which are not tubeless-ready to my knowledge. Some years of the DS series bikes came with Bontrager TLR rims, which I believe [u]are[u/] tubeless ready. I have heard and read of mixed experiences in trying to set non-tubeless rims up as tubeless. Of course, you can install tubeless tires on any rim, given the right size, and you can just run tubes in them.
So the strict answer to your question is "yes", you can install tubeless tires on your rims, and just run tubes in them. If you're asking this because you already have a pair of tubeless tires and you're wondering if they'll fit just like non-tubeless tires, the answer is "yes".
If you're asking if you can set tires up without tubes, and run tubeless, that's a "maybe" if you indeed have the Bontrager Connection rims. Some people seem to have luck doing it, and some don't. Or, "yes" if you have the Bontrager TLR rims, as those are tubeless ready.
