Fuji Traverse 1.8 vs Diamondback Haanjo Metro

Am considering buying a Hybrid and have narrowed the choices to the two bikes listed above. They are in my price range (about $400 or less). I will be primarily be riding on paved trails. Any thoughts on which would be the better buy?

I like the Diamondback better personally. But am curious, if you are intending on gravel riding along with pavement? It doesn't look like you could fit much larger tires than what it currently has on the Diamondback. Although it is 700x37c and that would be a good size for gravel rides.

Not a fan of that Traverse. The suspension on that Traverse would not be fun on pavement, no lock out and unnecessary. Fuji has many other Traverse that are more nice for a bit more.

These are what I looked at: https://www.performancebike.com/shop...tro-17-31-6086

The fork on the Traverse has such a short stroke (50mm) that there's not a lot of point in having it. That's such a short stroke that you'll either be bottoming out with it if kept soft, or you'll not have much damping action if you keep it firm (if you can tune it at all). That Diamondback Haanjo seems to be a lot of bike for the money.
