Now just say thanks to each of the two posts above and you'll have 10 posts. And then it's new bike porn time.

The Trek DuoTrap and ISO whatever is not an advantage, its just an invite to use Trek accessories. I don't think
that Trek accessories are the best bang for the buck. I suggest that you ride the Giant Escape and the Trek FX and
decide which one feels best to you. Factor in the support from the local bike shop.

Get a pump and a helmet and get busy.

@alfhasian you should know that people around here get upset if you don't show the drive train side of your pretty, pretty bike. Congratulations on the new ride!

Hah! I still haven't taken a proper portrait of my bike. Got a nice shot when I first got her, of the wrong side. There were complaints.

That is a beautiful view! Instantly I knew it was Tucson then I saw on your profile it indeed was in Tucson then noticed the Oro Valley Bike sticker. I got hooked on cycling in Tucson on the Rillito River Path (now known as The Loop) and got my first, and third bike from OVB on Ina/Shannon. I now live in Austin and while Austin may seem great for cycling, Tucson is seriously hands down one of the best places for road, fitness and mountain biking. Enjoy and eat up the trails. I long to return there one day primarily to ride my bikes.

Awesome, what a small world! I picked up my bike from the Sunrise location, only because it was the only store that had the Sport in stock. Also, the Tucson Loop is the biggest reason I'm getting into biking as much as I am right now! I just started reading about it a lot lately.

From here in Oro Valley, it's a ~10 mile ride along the CDO Wash which connects directly to the Loop. I think just a few months ago they completed the last portion of the Loop, so it's now a ~55 mile continuous path around the city. I'm pushing myself to be able to complete the whole loop by the end of the "perfect biking weather" season here.

I did tell my wife that if I stick with riding, which I will because I am enjoying it, I might want to buy the FX in 6 months and use it when I ride by myself and want to go a little faster than I do when I am with her on the Verve.
Congrats on your new ride!!! I wish you many happy trails!!!!! I am new and just picked up a new FX3 this week. I love this bike..
