Front hub loose
 

Hi there my front hub on my hybrid is slightly loose and the quick Reese is tight and I had the bearings re done less then a thousand miles ago what could be the problem.

If the wheel feels loose and the quick release skewer is tight, then your bearings may need adjustment. Take the wheel out of the bike and see if you can feel any movement of the axle through the hub. If so, then your bearings need another adjustment. It's not hard to do yourself, but it's also not easy to mess them up. If you previously had the hubs serviced, then I'd take the bike back to who did it and ask them to address it.

Having said that, 1,000 miles on a bike isn't exactly "just yesterday". Bearings do need service every now and then and it could just be time for that again on your hub.

This is actually normal for some hubs to come loose like this after some mileage after they had the bearings repacked. Very easy to fix if you like doing diy's, (plenty youtube video's on how to's). Otherwise, check with the LBS to see if they will adjust.
