Which bike is closest to Trek 7300?

My beloved Trek 7300 is finally wearing out after 13 years. I'm looking for another bike like it. But it looks like Trek doesn't make this kind of bike anymore. And the new bikes I see in the shop have a different design (the seat is much lower than the handlebars, which I don't find comfortable). What current bikes would be closest to the Trek 7300?

I’m pretty new to all this. But that 7300 looks a lot like the Giant Escape. That might be a good route?

The FX series is today what the 7xxx/MultiTrack series was years ago. The 7.1 FX is the least expensive and the 7.2 is a step up, the 7.3 another step up, etc. Just like with the 7xxx series....7300 was better equipped than the 7200, which was better equipped than the 7100, etc.

The 7300 is closest to something like Trek Verve or Jamis Citizen.

Trek made bikes with both 7300 and 7300FX names. The bikes without FX in the name were 700c with more upright seating and upgright bars than the 7.2FX, 74FX, etc.

How is it wearing out? Besides chains, tires, brake pads and cables most bike parts should last as long as the frame. Unless they are left out in the elements.
