The grips are the PDW Whiskey Grips. I love the feel of leather! https://www.ridepdw.com/goods/grips/w...grips%E2%84%A2
Thanks - I love the looks of the grips.

Right. What I meant by upgrading was swapping out the grip shifters for trigger shifters ($28 a pair on Amazon) and getting a more comfortable set of grips. I just prefer trigger style over grip. I have no intention of swaping gears, wheels, derailleurs or anything else. So, really all that I am looking at upgrading or swapping is maybe $45 worth of shifters and grips.

The bike rides awesome, shifts very smooth, and everything is tight and functions great. I would have a grand total of $275 into a bike that will serve me well for years to come.

I just get frustrated that by asking a LBS about swappingfrom one style of shifter to another, the automatic, default conclusion is abrand new bike. It may not be worth much, but it's what I have to work with.

It's a funny thing, I have close to a 1000 miles on my bike but zero on my moto for the year.

The amazing part is that's just using the tiny (albeit bright) LED from my iPhone 4's flash.

I've been thinking I should add a couple of additional lights front & rear and some more 3m scotchlite material to the frame after being buzzed by a mini a couple nights ago.

no, but I have thought about using this stuff to make them semi-reflective.

It's not because you weren't visible, it's because the driver was texting.
