I was wondering how this bike is working out for you? It looks like it would be a good "all-rounder". I have been thinking about getting one but the CrossRip also seems like it would be good for most surfaces. Do you find the front shock a blessing or overkill for average hybrid riding?

For my style of riding (75% hard surface, remainder dirt/gravel/ 2-track roads) it has been a great bike thus far. I knew when I purchased the bike that I might change the tires, and I did put a set of Continental Travel Contact 700 x 37c (quieter and a little faster on the road) in lieu of the OEM Bontrager LT3's.
I actually like the remote lockout feature because the road conditions where I live can be somewhat unpredictable, IMO enhances control/feel of the bike under sudden road condition changes.

Hi to you all out there. I actually have two Hybrids, one is a Scott S50 FB Hybrid Road Bike and the other is a Fuji Track Bike which started life on Dropped Bars and front & Rear Brakes but is now a Flat-bar Hybrid.
It can be changed from one to the other in a matter of 30minutes if required.

I'd just call it a beautiful bike, and leave it at that. Hybrid is happy to be inclusive. It doesn't even have a rack, and those nice wheels...
