It was just a short, windy ride on a local greenbelt in our fair 'burb today, but the odd thing about these pictures, especially on the Hybrid forum, is that they include 2 Fuji Absolutes. One Fuji is rare enough considering all the Giants, Treks, and Specializeds seen on these pages, but 2 Absolutes together is like a unicorn sighting! Mine is the blue 2013 Absolute 2.1, and my buddy TJ's is the orange 2018 Absolute 2.3 he picked up a couple of weeks ago.
Cheers!

Here is my Jamis Commuter1 turned hybrid gravelgrinder.
Ive done quite abit to it, possibly some knobby tires for the light gravel soon and debating converting to a threadless fork and headset.
Shes pretty versatile and almost as fun as my mtb

My Merida Crossway 300 (2016) with Winter Tires. Still too snowy and ice for summer tires.

Really enjoy mine.
Incase youre wondering, ive actually emailed jamis in regards to tire size our frames will accomodate. The response i got from jamis was can accommodate a 38c tire pending brand and style of tire. I plan on fitting a 35 or 36c cross tire.

Merida also own 49% of Specialized, so there is no issue at all with quality.

Long time no post in this subforum, but my old hybrid is back, and it is more of a hybrid than ever.
This time it comes in a version for him:

Sharp! What are they? (I just can't quite make out the name on the down tube - does it say Stevens?)

It’s a 2010 Stevens Strada 600 converted to drop handlebar and 10 speeds. I just switch the stem and seatpost/saddle depending on who wants to ride it. Occasionally I also switch the pedals for clipless ones.

Interesting, thought first it's 2 similiar bikes but apparently it's one bike and you change the reguired parts you mentioned. Never come up on situation where both want's to ride with it on same time?

Not a great pic but the red was popping hard in the morning light when opening the garage to go to work this morning so I had to snap a pic. Love the brushed silver aluminum with the fluorescent red and black.

Thanks! When I was shopping it looked super muted/washed out on Specialized's site - I find the colors on their site are always WAY off. I do also wish Specialized had color schemes similar to this on the higher end carbon bikes but it's mostly black, black, and more black (those still look cool too though). Just like to have some loud/fun "pop" on my bike, even if I'm a Fred.
