My real first name is Darwin, and I am a 50+ Clydesdale who rides primarily on the road, and enjoys vintage bikes. So, I am in several places on Bike Forums, depending on mood.
I have a 2003 Giant Sedona DX and I also have a couple of mountain bikes converted to a more hybrid form for myself and friends to ride when they visit. I am also building up a hardtail as a mountain bike to ride on the trails here in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania.
I also have several road bikes, a couple of old middle weights... One to be rebuilt to be similar to what I rode in high school. Rams Horn bars, and a banana seat, 26" wheels and a 3 speed hub. So, it will be a hybrid of sorts.

New member here, Mike in Omaha, NE. I was recently given a Cannondale H300 that had been sitting in a garage collecting dust, so I've started cycling for the first time in 15+ years. I've cleaned it up, thrown some new tires on it, and have put about 100 miles on it in the past 3 weeks...I'm definitely hooked on riding!
I'd ideally like to commute to work, but I haven't worked up the courage to start riding in the streets yet. I'm not quite to the point where I can do the 25mi round trip, but I'm slowly working up the endurance!

Hi Hybrid folk: My name is Tamara, I'm 36 and I live in Hollyweird, CA.where I teach high school English. I got my bike at the end of last school year in order to ride some over the summer and turn that into commuting. My commute is super short; 1.4 miles. However, it's all on a very slight incline home which never fails to make me huff and puff.
I ride a Trek WSD 7000 and this is pretty much the first bike I ever purchased minus anything I may have had as a kid.

Also, that is me in my Avatar... I plan to put up something else this weekend, since it bothers me to have to look for a crying image to see what I've posted, so I will change it to something more positive.
I don't look anything like that any more.

Brian here ... I am 40, ride a Trek 7300 hybrid. Bought it 6 or 7 ago just to ride around the neighborhood with my kids. Moved to a farm and hadn't ridden in probably 3 or 4 years. My youngest though is finally riding (he's 7) and the other two (11 and 14) got the itch to ride the C&O. So the old hybrid is dusted off, tuned up, and have been riding quite a bit lately. We will be riding the C&O end to end, unsupported, over labor day weekend.

Stupid me, went and let some dude talk me into selling my hybrid! But this is my wife Gina. Mostly roadie now but she won't give up her hybrid. She's done thousands of miles on this bike. Had the handlebars switched out for her. She loves them bars! Now that I pulled out the hybrid for a couple of pics, she says she wants to start doing midweek rides on it!
Sorry about the messy face, she was making dinner and posing!
