... it was a tough chioce between the 2012 or the '13... The '13 has the cooler paint, but I love the mech bb7's of the '12, the paint won, and the brakes are replacable ... where as re-painting is not cost effective.
I take back everything, that I never said about Jamis.. That bike is HOT & the specs. are great. Thought it was a C-Dale.

LOL, I'll find out how "hot" it is, on a sunny day in Aug ... and, it sure does look like a bad boy, ( poss not an accident ) only priced way better.

I must admit, I walked past the "sport" and the "comp" versions of the coda... several times when the sales kid was showing me Jamis-es with disc brakes. I could not belive, its the same bike .

Jamis did an awesome job with this years line-up... finding out, more and more, about this company ...

... there are 5 cx bikes all with disc brakes ! ... one is Di2 ! ... 3 are carbon, the cheapest one is Sora with mech. disc priced @ 650$ ( @ my LBS, which is a Jamis dealer, less then a mi. from my lady friends place. )

... there is a new "super light" alu. framed road race bike. [ the Icon is claimed to be the same weight as the ( cf ) Xenith pro ! ]

... Speaking of Xenith, I think I need to show my lady friend the Xenith Endura, a tall headtube, short toptube, long distance, road bike, basically a hybrid ... shhh... keep that on the DL.
If she goes for it, I'll have to get a Quest or Eclipse, to keep up with her.

... and ofcourse I like the Coda Elite ...

A view from the commute. I arrived for the national motocross early at 6:30 am. OK... maybe a month early. But I just know they have a division for my bike too. 7.2 FX cc perhaps?

I looked at getting a NEW Jamis last fall, but ended up not buying anything. (Looked at lots of bikes) The dealer is just so far from my house, and this particular one is not real friendly. & yes it does look like a Bad Boy.

Bayside

I live close to the water at the industrial side of Hakata Port but try to avoid it during the week. Went across town and followed the Bayside bicycle and walking paths along the beach.

Yes, that is my original B67 I got for my Electra Cruiser a couple of years ago....springs are swapped out on the Konas Flyer. I wanted to stay with the black & battleship grey with the Sawyer and the mostly silver & metallic grey with the Kona. Been thinking of getting just a Flyer for the Sawyer...looks and feels so nice...but takes so long to break-in!

*Slow* its a no-drop community ride ... we purdy much tour the city, and stop ( & shop ) at various small buisnesses ... the organizer does a great job calling ahead so we dont overwhelm anyone

... so far, only one coffee shop owner asked us not to suport his shop, since his regulars 3 guys that got there after the 30 of us ,had no space to sit & made some "noise" ... so, the 3 regulars "won". ( 3guys x 5days a week vs. 30x1 it was the obvious choice ... O.o )

Sounds fun, according to them, they choose a different local business each week also. That's the morning ride, but today they also had a Historical Tour Ride . Think I spent around 4 hours in the saddle, and my back side feels fine..

Took my hybrid out for a 33 mile ride, half rural highway and half on a mostly *unfinished* bike path. The longest trip to date with this bike. Took me about two and a half hours with a AVS of 12.9mph (my former AVS was 13.9mph on shorter distances) to complete it. I'm thinking about making it a weekly routine to get out and ride longer distances more often to improve that.
