Usually I don't even glance over to the highway, but today I decided to stop and look, and then the idea of missing the office disappeared as I thought about just how good I have it. No rush hour traffic, no suit and tie, no packing my lunch or having to drive among all the angry ******** trying to get their Big Macs and get back in a 30 minute window. I get to hop on the bike 7 days a week with no destination in mind and just ride. I'll never go back to the office.

When I was working from home, I would ride almost everyday to town for lunch, 13 miles there and back. Yes be glad you can work from home.

Yeah it's the trace sport. This was actually my first time riding it. It's a very solid bike!

It's my first bike with a front suspension which is taking me some getting used to, but it's a nice ride. I'm hoping this is a better commuter than my GT ZUM.

My 7.2 FX took me on a 36 mile commute home from work. It's usually around 30 miles, but I just couldn't stop.

I rode my new Fuji traverse 1.3 to the bay-lands, shoreline park, and back. A total of 22.2 miles, it was quite fun.

Went out for a 25 mile ride yesterday, when I got distracted-hit a stick on loose gravel and my bike went down from under me around the half way mark. Got up with just a little road rash to my right knee and my rear tire locked up from my rear caliper. I managed to free the wheel and rode back to the starting point. Cleaned up my wound and checked the bike over, which seems to be OK except my rear wheel still appears to be stuck - I think the brakes need realigning but I'm not sure so I'm just going to have my LBS look at it (I should have a free tune up through them anyway since I just bought the bike 2 months ago).

I'm glad you weren't injured more and hope they get you back on the road asap.

Sadly my hybrid has been neglected lately as I've been trying to increase the K's on my Road Bike.
Saturday went to Arashiyama / Sagano
Sunday a nice loop around the east to north of our city.

Japan's such a nice place to ride My hybrid getting dusty too, I'll remedy that soon.

Tonight's ride, night after the supermoon. This is the best I can see the suburbia around Adelaide from my area at night. That's 30-35km's away. Pic has 30sec. exposure with flash. The two highest red lights on the horizon are Mt Lofty where I ride my roadbike and beyond.
