Looks like a decent bike for $450. Make sure you read other threads about BD bikes. It'd probably be beneficial to have a bike store look at it after you get it, but otherwise should serve you well.
You can't really find any other 8 speed IGH bikes for that cheap.

From what I have seen with BD and their bikes. The bikes are of decent quality, the problem comes in with the assembly, which is left to the buyer. So you buy any bike from BD it comes in a box. You have to assemble it yourself or take it to a LBS and have them do the assembly and adjustments. So in the long run have you really saved any money? Tha t is a decission you have to make.
