Ergon bar end swap?
I posted this in the mechanics thread, but this might get better response. I bought a pair of Ergon GR2's for my Trek with the gripshift and my new bike has trigger shifters. I like the feel of the Ergon grips, but dont want to fork out the money for a new pair of the GR2's. Can the ends on the GR2's be put on the GP1's for the new bike?

No, the barends and clamps are not interchangeable. The clamping interface is completely different. Also, if you have gripshifters on your bike now and have Ergon grips for that shifting system, you will want to get a new pair of Ergon grips. The Ergon grips for gripshift will be too short to work with trigger shifters.
