Flat Bar Shifters
Has anyone ever used Campy flat bar shifters? I'd like to convert a drop bar bike to flat bar. Rather than replace group with a new one I'm thinking about the Campy flat bar shifters. Problem is nobody stocks them. Even my LBS said they're virtually impossilbe to get, he tried. I was thinking about using Shimano with a Shiftmate. Problem is Shimano uses an indexed ft shifter. Campy's actuation ratio on their front derailleurs isn't compatible with Shimano and JTEK doesn't make a front shiftmate. I could change front derailleurs but then where does is end?

Can't remember the company, but someone out there makes high end thumbies. You could always just get a set of them and use them in friction mode.

You could put moustache bars on. These are boutique flat bars with an interesting curve and they use road levers - but rotated so that are in flat bar position.

In March I replaced the drop bar on a Surly LHT with a flat bar, installed MTB brake levers, and moved the barcon shifters to Paul thumbies. The Paul thumbies+barcons are a great setup.

I converted my Specialized Sequoia to flat bar. I run Duraace barend shifters mounted in my barends. I just love friction shifting. No muss no fuss and easy to adjust.
