Can I raise this bike's handle bar stem?
I have the GT Transeo 3 (https://www.gtbicycles.com/usa/eng/Bi...anseo-3.0-Disc). I feel like the handle bars are too low. Is it possible to raise the stem? If so, how would I do it? Thanks.

You have a threadless headset with a 7 degree +/- so depending on which way the stem is mounted you can flip it over. If its already mounted 7 degrees up then you will have to shop for a stem with more rise to it. There not that expensive. Take it to LBS and see if they will let you try some out. More expensive way is to get a adjustable stem and get it set where you like it then at later date if you dont like adjustable stem you can replace it by matching it to a regular stem.

You gotta swap the stem, or get a steerer tube extender.
You can get an adjustable stem, which would give you a wide range of options, or a stem with a steeper rise. Alternatively, the steerer tube extender would give a couple more inches to clamp that stem onto.
If you get a new stem, just make sure you match the clamp diameter for the handlebars.
The extender would be something like this: https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...r.aspx?sc=FRGL
