back on the hybrid

for a while, ive been wanting to buy a hybrid, as i used to have a 96 marin stinson, and with all the trails around my area and so many mikes of country roads, i finally got one the other day. sorry no pictures till next week (bad weather) its a blue schwinn supersport 24 spd. maybe after i post a pict, ya'll might beable to help me determine what year it is. not biopace, so i know its not early 90's, but full size chainrings (52/42/28 or 30) and not compact. i love the ride of the aluminum frame (N' lighten gold lable) and not only is it quick on road, but quite trail capable.

it good to be back.

Congrats on the new bike and welcome back to cycling. The weather is getting better so that is more of an inspiration to get out there. Can't wait to see the pics.

Congrats! Hybrids are way more fun than road bikes Road bikes are great if your in a hurry and don't really want to see anything but pavement. I notice a lot more riding my Sirrus than I ever did riding the Allez I had. Which is too bad, the Allez was a heck of a quick bike.

And Siu is right, the nice weather is more inspirational. In fact I went for my 10 mile "sodus center pond" loop and will do the same shortly. Been too nice out not to!

There's probably a few recumbent owners who think the exact same thing about hybrid riders....

All bikes are good.
