Thomson alternatives with micro-adjust?
 

Looking for suggestions on a good alternatives to the Thomson Elite seatpost, preferably a bit cheaper and with a matte/flat black finish (I am really OCD and having a glossy black Elite on my matte black bike would probably drive me insane). I barely know anything about seatposts, so don't know where to begin.

Would the Thompson in silver be OK?

Nope.

Not unless I could get someone to paint it matte black and get rid of the logo.

What is the reason for switching???

Thomson's have absolutely no setback. Their setback version is also but ugly and comes in limited sizes.

Have a recent Bought Race face Post, its OK, American Classic is clever too, But they are Black anodized too ,


I recently got a new Brompton Penta saddle clip, they are a single bolt aluminum microadjustment saddle clip
for plain type 22,2 .. /7/8" top seatpost which is silvery and offered by like Kalloy for example in All dameters from 25.0 to 27.2 at least
in typical 0.2mm increments .

have 25.0 super record single bolt Campag seat post (high polish) and 2 USE machined shims to fit it in 27.0 and 27.2 machined seat tube ID frames .
