ROL D'Huez wheels on hybrid?

I have access to a set of this rims for a fairly decent price. Will they work with the 10 speed shimano stock cassette?
I'm not really concerned about going on trails, I mostly use my 7.7 to cruise on the road and chase roadies.
Does anyone know what the weight is on the stock rims? the ROL come in at around 1400grams.
Thanks. =)

Dependent on the hub used! But, it's a 95% certainty that it will fit.

Also, you might have to rethink your tire size, dependent on the internal rim width.

Yes, but only if they are Shimano compatible, no if they are the Campy model

1900 grams

Thank you.
I would probably have to get a narrower tire.
It's the hub that now i'm concerned about. I was under the impression that hub size does not change between road bikes and hybrids.

It doesn't really, it's just making sure the cassette can fit onto the wheel. If the wheels are 10spd Shimano compatible, they should fit onto your bike.

Your stock wheels are classified as road wheels on Bontrager's site, BTW.

If and only if, the 7.7FX has a rear spacing of 130mm.

Take a ruler and measure the distance between the rear dropouts. If its 135mm, you'll need a mountain bike hub.

The FX has 135mm rear spacing. The only way the wheelset in question will work is if the rear hub will accept a 5mm spacer and the wheel can be redished.
