In the Dark

I coulda sworn there was a thread for posting pictures of our bikes in the light and in the dark, but I can't find it.

Nice!

My Y2K Kona Nunu had glow in the dark (not reflective) decals and grips.

Thanx man,I am not even halfway done w/the visibilty stuff.I added just today, supports for the rear mounted seat rack.Custom fabbed them from the same aluminum flat bar I used to mount the rear lights.I am going to cover those w/3M tape also, and am making locking, removeable panniers from black marine battery boxes...and you guessed it,those are getting 3M and orange DOT reflectors also, and may add blinkies to either side.I am giving no one,any excuses to not see me.
All this stuff makes my bike look a little silly during the day,and it does add weight I suppose, but I use it for crosstraining so it just make me stronger, and when I use it for commuting, especially at night,Im set :)

I like this thread.

Unfortunately the effect is less than this now because I've replaced the schwalbe reflective tyres.

REMOVED

I'll update this pic in a few days.

The inspiration for this thread has posted! Giant, I thought you had started a thread on this theme, but I guess it was a post in another thread.

I was hoping you would bring two pictures to this thread, to show the stealth daytime black on black graphics which are barely visible unless reflecting light, like the moon.

But beggars can't be choosers. :)

I think my bike may be lacking in reflective material. I wish they had reflective sidewalls, but I love those Contis:

Commuted right through our record setting (snowfall) winter this past year:

Love the sidewalls on my Schwalbe Marathon Winters, and the reflective piping on my Arkel pannier:

I reserve this parka for short jaunts through real blizzards, when motorists least expect me to be on my bike:

It does indeed... more so under a camera's flash, of course, but you get the picture. ;)
