Need major help!!
I brought my new 7.2fx home today from the bike shop. I had to take the front wheel off to fit it in my car. They showed me how to put it back on, but when I got home it became impossible for me to do it correctly. My left brake keeps collapsing onto the rim and I when I hook the brakes back up it is offline and the front wheel is stuck with the brakes locked down.
Any suggestions. This is my first bike and I'm not very mechanically sound. Thanks |
Try going to you tube and search how to videos for bikes --- look for re-installing front wheel. I learned how to do a lot of my own adjustments by watching how to clips. Also check out how to adjust the brakes. Good luck.

Make sure the spring arm (wire) on the back of each brake arm is correctly positioned against the tab. If it comes loose, it will allow the brake arm to fall against the wheel.

It might just be one of the springs on your brakes.
That, or you simply didn't put your wheel straight on the fork. This is one of the most basic things to learn ... as said before youtube is your friend in these matters |
