Giant Expression LX vs. Trek T30
Hello - I am hoping to get some advice before buying a hybrid. I have pretty much narrowed it down to the Giant Expression LX or the Trek T30, for Women. Would one be better than the other, or are these both very comparable?
I plan to have a child's seat on the back, and need to be able to hook up a trailer to pull children, groceries, etc. So I need a solid, reliable bike that will get me around town, and maybe even out to some villages in the summer months. I like the safety factor and the look of a very upright riding position. So am I on track with these two bikes or should I consider others?
I was initially interested in the Giant N7 but they aren't making it anymore and I can't find it ANYWHERE in the UK. I'd be ok with the Giant Expression DX but they've discontinued that model as well.
I have ridden the Trek, but as the Expression LX is not in stock in my size, I've only tried the Expression N3 in my size in the Giant line. So I'm a little hesitant to buy a bike I've never ridden, but the mechanic I've spoken with says he'd go with Giant over Trek.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
