Custom Hybrid Frameset
I know it always cost more but I want to piece together my own Hybrid. I have basically everything but a frame/fork. Does anyone sell Hybrid style frames? Could you use a 29er frame with a rigid or CF fork? Any and all opinions are appreciated.

I'd be going with the 29er frame. My hybrid is pretty close to a 29 frame. ie. MTB frame with 700c disc wheels.
No worries. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...0262_edit0.jpg |
Yep I would recommend starting with a MTB frame also, the range and options are unlimited.

It`s a 2007 USA frame but unfortunately it`s not available now. My guess any 29er would be fine.

Custom frameset by a small hand-making builder can be anything you wish.
Ohio Based Hub-Bub Cycles is a shop that helps people pick thru their needs and gets a custom builder's frame made, then outfitted for people used to going to pro bike shops , but not really dialed in to the last MM and degree angle of the specifications to talk with custom bike makers directly. But I suspect you are looking to outfit a mass produced frame with different components. |
