Handlebar Height

I went to my LBS to get an extension for my handlebars because they just felt so low compared to how high my seat is. The did all the adjustments for me, but now, I think they are too high. I also will be putting drop-bar bar ends next week (justorderedyesterday). What do you guys think?

After tilting my head for the pic it doesn't look to bad but this is very personal, with my bike I started with the seat and bars level then after a while lowered the bars 20mm bellow seat height. I much prefer an aggressive ride position.
Looking at your bike you seem to have a lot of room to experiment. If you don't have tools to remove the top cap stem the LBS should be able to swap a few spacers around in a few minutes for you.
I think your in the ball park as it is though.

^^^^I agree with jbc...
tahoe-girl, do you think it feels too high, or just looks too high? I think level with the saddle is a good place to start.

How do they feel when you ride the bike?

Sometimes the difference between two high and too low is just a centimeter or so. It looks like your stem has spacers above and below, so you've got some room now to make small adjustments up and down. Your shop can help, until you get the height dialed.

Admittedlty, I'm just pleased to see an Eagles fan in California! :p

Thanks everyone. I havent been able to ride for about a week now, but I plan on going for a ride today and I'll be paying better attention to how the bike feels. I have new clipless pedals to put on today and the new drop bar ends next week so slowly but surely the bike is getting right where I want it to be.
