Bought one today if you are still interested. I took it for a test and it doesn't feel as good as my brooks, which was killing my prostate. However, I'm going to give it a 20 mile ride tomorrow or the next day and determine if I like it, or not. I'll keep you informed.

Took a 50 mile ride and this seat is not for me. My butt was numb after 10 miles and it doesn't even protect the prostate that well. The search continues.

You might check out the ARS saddle. I have the competition model and it is decent. The standard also gets good reviews

I've found that my butt is more comfortable in the long run without gel. It seems the flan-like jiggly-wriggly-factor of gel causes more problems than it's squishy load distribution solves...

I think you are right about the gel. In fact, it seems to compress and then fill in between the sit bones, just where you don't want it. I love the feel of my Brooks Pro, but riding more than 20 miles on it mashes the prostate. I seem to be one of many who is on the quest for the right seat. Thanks!
