A good day to ride

Crystal clear, sunny blue sky, temp. in the 60's. Seemed as if the wind was at my back the entire 20 miles. Chatted with a few cows along the fence rows and followed the flight of a red tailed hawk that didn't particularly care for my presence. The spring peepers were talking in the distance and the blue birds were scouting out their potential accommodations. Sights, sounds, smells all pointed to the inevitability of spring. The older I get, the more I realize it's the simple things that cause me to savor life.

Most people forget what it was like to be a kid and take life to seriously, it's the same with cycling don't loose the spirit. Of course rides with the wind at your back are rare and always help!
