Depends on where and how you ride the bike. Platforms can be nice on a commuter or and around town errand bike, personally I like clipless for recreational and fitness rides.

I'm just talking about esthetic wise, I never have liked clipped pedals. These feel awesome, but there really downhill pedals. I've already stepped outside the box with an "MTB" crank, was wondering what others thought.

I like em

Lots-o pedals with sealed bearings and low profiles. ( you might need to lower your seat. )

Forte and speedplay come to mind. ( that still look like a platform pedal. )

I voted "Yes". They look great and match your bike.

Definitely keep them, they're like the finishing touch to the bike. I've never thought of pedals like that in my life, but these really do just that.

I noticed that today, my seat felt a little to high... (good call) :thumb:

Also took back the Crank Brothers to REI, & installed these from Performance : http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=325015 Just a little lighter, and not so bold looking.. work awesome though. :thumb:
