Depends on where and how you ride the bike. Platforms can be nice on a commuter or and around town errand bike, personally I like clipless for recreational and fitness rides.

Lots-o pedals with sealed bearings and low profiles. ( you might need to lower your seat. )
Forte and speedplay come to mind. ( that still look like a platform pedal. ) |
I voted "Yes". They look great and match your bike.

Definitely keep them, they're like the finishing touch to the bike. I've never thought of pedals like that in my life, but these really do just that.
