Probably, they have a 4.1 rating from 77 reviews on the site. Try them out and let us know. ;)

Do you realize it's the tire that protects the tube?

+1

I have a set of these protected by a set of Bontrager H2's 1700 miles with no flats yet. I would side that a good tire would protect any tube. They do hold air better then most tubes I have tried. I run them at 70-80 and only top them off every few weeks when they have lost about 10psi

Yes, but tires aren't invincible so a little extra protection is good, matter of fact, not only do I use thorn resistant tubes, I also use Mr. Tuffy tire liners. Overkill? Maybe. Flats? Not yet. :thumb:

I had two flats last week! I had tire liners installed but I want max protection. So....what makes a good tire?

I just bought Panaracer RibMo clinchers a couple weeks ago and so far they're great. They're fast, they have "Protection Technology", they come in different sizes, and you can get them with wire bead or folding. I got them in wire bead 700x32. They're stiff so putting them on you have to work it. And so far I haven't had to air them up thanks to the new thorn resistant tubes.
